Huge difference. Slash might have taken influence from T-Rex's style & look, but DJ Ashba replaced Slash & blatantly uses his look for reminiscence. The bands a joke anyway nowadays & will probably be done by Jan or Feb. He should have stuck with Sixx AM, at least they did a festival tour over the summer. This GnR's gonna crash & burn playing to 2,000 fans/night when Axl no shows again.

Also, please, without the top hat, Slash is Joe Perry down to just about every detail. Saul is hardly an original. Everyone uses their influences.
Tommy Stinson also basically admitted to lifting Duff McKagan's style of playing bass, because he is an admirer of Duff's, but also at the same time felt that is what the fans wanted and deserved to hear the songs played as.
I don't see anyone bagging on Tommy for being a "Duff copycat".
Lemme guess, i'm gonna get "The Replacements Defense"?

I see the Slash/Joe Perry similarities. Probably explains why they are from two of my favorite bands.

Slash is an icon that owns that look. He is the most famous guitar player in the world.

Slash is more famous than Keef.. Today... Either way, its his trademark, and he did it in 1987 before it was all badass..
Joe Perry is a good riff writer, but pretty overrated as an overall player. Especially since Brad Whitford is better than Perry and he is in his own band.
