One thing for sure, there was talk in 2001 of Slash playing on 3 songs with Axl for the record if Slash would apologize for some of the things he said about Axl that Axl said were not true. One of the big problems that Axl has with Slash is that he says Slash has lied about a lot of stuff. The problem is and I can't speak for everything, is some of the things that Slash has said is just Slash's point of view

If they didn't sign it, they would have had to somehow work out their differences or break up. If they had to break up Axl still would have ended up with Robin and or Bucket and the other guys in 1997/98 and would have bean able to get out the new music much easer under a different name.

Spin that out for size.

Everyone on this board needs to read Marc Canter's comments. He truly is an objective middleman. But, alas, you won't. You will spin things however you want to spin them. hmm

That line says it all.....

this is my truth, tell me yours

I agree with almost everything he said. Not sure Axl bwould have 5 times more material out, but other than that I think he's right.

You know, if after all these decades Axl still can't understand that communicating through middlemen is very risky and they often mislead him, then he is stupid. Very stupid. For some unknown reason he still believes in those people, denies to accept the truth and doesn't man up to talk himself to people. Just like Jacko. His world is so closed that even Marc Canter's words cannot get in.

to look through a book, magazine, or newspaper, without reading it carefully. I've only thumbed through this book, but it looks very interesting. I leafed through a magazine while waiting to see the doctor.

That was not what it said, however. There was nothing about death in these documents.

Which he found out by leafing?

Ok then, just saying. He could be correct, it's not that, but I get the feeling of inconsistency in his story.

If we could all send a Terminator back in time to stop Doug Goldstein from being born, knowing what we know now.

I think we'd all sign off on it.

I don't believe that for a second, even if Marc Canter said it.

Axl's too crazy, too surrounded by his "entourage" to have ever adequately released numerous albums. The more we find out both publicly and privately, the fucked up release of Chinese Democracy -- we were damn lucky to even get.

And even that was a fuck up of epic proportions. I highly doubt we'll ever get another GN'R album based on Axl's letting "Lebeis Lawn & Garden" running Guns N' Roses.

They were already in place in the mid-90's. There was no chance for FIVE albums. Maybe 2, long shot 3. Not 5. And most likely just 1, like we got.

It's worse than you can even imagine. I don't think another GN'R album, nor a reunion will EVER happen based on ONE certain "family" in Malibu.

It's a lost cause even talking about it.

Are there any Izzy interviews on Axl post 2006? I'm sure there, I just can't remember.
