Re: 10 worst metal albums of all time
Crue 94 is like a mash up of Metallica's black album and Soundgarden's Superunknown, with a bit of typical Crue sleaze here and there.
Thanks for posting those other videos too, just proves what we've been saying all along, that guy who wrote that list is full of shit.
Re: 10 worst metal albums of all time
I'd actually go so far to say that Crue '94 is their most "authentic" record as a band.
Weird, eh? I prefer my Ozzy, glamed-out Jake E. Lee, Bark/Sin-era. Fuckin' pinnacle.
I prefer my Crue darker.
Crue '94 was their grunge record imo, and unlike the other 80's metal guys that tried that in the 90's and failed -- Crue succeeded.
It's a shame that album doesn't get more credit. Alot of people ask me "what should I listen to that's like definitive Crue?"
And I always say listen to Feelgood first, then Crue '94. That's all you need. Other than maybe Shout, everything else are singles records anyway. You'd be better served just downloading the singles individually from the other albums.
I also haven't liked any Crue 'record' since the Corabi album.
