Re: Fake Axl on Twitter
What is not a waste of time?
I can't think of one thing which is not a waste of time, except maybe working for money.
This post is certainly a waste of time. So is reading nonsense Twitter post. I bought two cans of Coca Cola today too, that was a waste of time as well, it gives me some pleasure but I get fat so it's like double waste
Don't worry man, working for money is a waste of fucking time too.
Most of the time we work for $15 bucks an hour so some fucking corporate pig can charge $100 an hour for our services.
YAY! Isn't capitalism great? Aren't I lucky?
I think the jokes about beta and fernando and stuff are in bad taste.
Axl clearly considers them his step family - so I see them as "out of bounds" the way I'd consider it rude to make personal remarks about the private family of anyone famous.
The jokes about Axl causing the england riots are I guess mildly amusing in the context of Axl's reputation...I can see a funny side...although even that's in poor taste really considering real people are in danger and suffering losses at the moment in that situation.
No no no, man.
Those cats stopped being private family as soon as they became employees of Guns N' Roses, the business entity, AND started taking digs at fans on message boards who questioned them.
Someone like Vanessa... now she's probably off limits 'cause she stays out of the whole deal.
But Beta & Fernando? "They're Axl's family", then don't fucking have them PUBLICLY working your band, when you want to keep them PRIVATELY your family.
That's Axl's fault. So they can play it cool, but if they start being dicks, fans can be dicks right back to them, AND satirize them also. That's how it works.

Re: Fake Axl on Twitter
Beta and Fernando are in the business, so it's fair game. I follow a fake account for the Buffalo Sabres' GM, and it has a lot of jokes about other people in the organization, because they're business jokes. It doesn't matter if they're personal friends as well, once they're in the business and the PR specifically, they're fair game for satire and parodPr
