Re: Azoff-Axl Lawsuit Settled: Includes "comprehensive touring agreement"

a theater tour in nov concentrated SOLELY in the midwest would be a great idea, kinda like dylan's rolling thunder revue in the 70's.
they could expand it & do an arena tour in new year

do 8-12 smaller shows in the one region, if even that many. then regroup for a larger jaunt across the US in Jan/Feb

but honestly i'd be surprised if anything happened outside the SA this year.
it'll be next yr when axl is dragged kicking & screaming across empty arena's until he throws in the towelhalf way through & the whole thing get's dissolved once & for all. the end is nigh, enjoy RiR cause it's all gonna end soon.

this band is actually really predictable - they tour the us every 4-5 years since 2002.

what evidence points to this "ending soon" ? Geez, talk about doom and gloom. And for the record, the band hasn't even been around 30 years so how can the setlist be the same. 19

I will give you props on the Rolling Thunder reference. That would be sooooo cool if they did something like that and let Tommy play some solo stuff...Bumble do some stuff...mix and match parts of Axl's Orchestra together to do instrumentals or cover tunes. You wouldn't even need an opening act.

fyi..info on Rolling Thunder Revue

The Rolling Thunder Revue was a famed U.S. concert tour consisting of a traveling caravan of musicians, headed by Bob Dylan, that took place in late 1975 and early 1976. Among those featured in the Revue were Joan Baez, Roger McGuinn, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Kinky Friedman and Bob Neuwirth. Neuwirth assembled the backing musicians, including T-Bone Burnett, Mick Ronson, David Mansfield, and Steven Soles, and, from the Desire sessions, the violinist Scarlet Rivera, the bassist Rob Stoner, and the drummer Howie Wyeth.

They all played some of their songs as well as backing Dylan for the main set.

Hearing talk of possible Guns N Roses US dates in the midwest in November, just a handful of possible dates. More news when I get it.

Maybe they'll make up the cancelled 11/26/06 date from Milwaukee? Nah, all the major tours just skip Milwaukee and only play Chicago lately.

Trust me, it's the end. Who cares if I've predicted it before and didn't happen. I know what I'm talking about! And if it doesn't happen when I say it will... Then I'll just pick a new date! How yah like them apples! The world is gonna end!

...eventually.
