Honestly I'm 100% positive there are other way more ridiculous riders out there. Mariah Carey, Elton John, Lady Gaga, even yes Axl Rose I'm sure have ridiuclous riders. They're all clowns when it comes to this shit. If i was a performer of their magnitude my rider would say I want a bottle of gatorade and some M&M's. that's it. The rest i coudl get on my own whatever the hell it is I would need. Artists are so lame. I'd probably cringe reading U2's rider although with all the backstage footage they don't seem to be all that demanding but still the list would probably make a pesant like us roll our eyes.

That's the key difference. Other than that, the rest is correct. Most artists have absurd riders. And you know what, if I was a rock star - i'd probably have a pretty crazy one too. Why?
Because I can. But i'm not gonna fuck over fans by scalping my own tickets. "Well Ticketmaster does it", fuck them too.

yeah but like russtcb suggested i woner who els eis doing it? I'd bet lots are. I woudn't think legit bands like say U2, Pearl jam., Gn'R, RHCP etc etc etc aren't doing it but industry made "artists" I bet are doing it full force. Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, etc etc etc.
