Re: Corey Taylor would neither confirm not deny that is the known singer"
Epic news if this were to come true. Corey would be the most excellent fit. If they really want to work with a known guy, and a strong frontman-type personality, this is as good as it's gonna get.

SLIPKNOT's JOEY JORDISON: 'We're Ready To Come Back' - Feb. 8, 2011
Joey Jordison (MURDERDOLLS, ROB ZOMBIE, SLIPKNOT) was recently interviewed by Andrew Haug of Triple J's "The Racket" (which airs in Australia). Listen to the program in streaming audio at the Triple J web site: Windows Media, Real Media (NOTE: The first part of the Jordison interview begins around the two-hour, five-minute mark). Check out the program's entire playlist at this location. The interview can also be streamed in two parts below.
When asked about the current status of SLIPKNOT following the death of the band's bassist, Paul Gray, last May, Jordison said, "Everything's fine. I get questions about it all the time, of course, so I just wanna set the record straight that everything in the SLIPKNOT camp is just like it's always been, just like since we started. It's definitely been a regrouping. We need to do this, and the people need it, and we're coming back. It's something that you definitely need to see. I'm not gonna let the cat out of the bag about what we're actually doing, but it's gonna be a definite celebration — it's gonna be the ultimate gathering, that's for sure. And everything is great in SLIPKNOT; we had a great band meeting, and everything is on the up-and-up, and we're ready to come back. And it's happening quickly."

Ash, Slash's brother, is saying Corey Taylor is replacing Weiland and will be the new singer of VR on his twitter..... Interesting!

Well, VR doesn't seem to be doing anything in the near future anyway, which will probably leave Corey free to his Slipknot commitments.

Yeah i guess Cory could do Slipknot, while Slash does his second solo with Myles, then when Myles goes to Alterbride, Slipknot can go on break while VR regroup. Sounds hard to schedule though!

Although slash is playing here in like a week or 3 or soemthing, so guess it's going to be a few months.
