Matt & Duff were smart enough to recognise that his 'brand' is tired and not embraced by the mainstream anymore and declare publically that he didn't interest them.

I think the band need a rock vocalist that has modern props, Mike Patton, Chris Cornell, Brandon Boyd, Mark Lanegan, Chris Robinson.. those dudes will bring the young and curious and not the old and mullet headed!!
