Will it just be The General or will it be The General and Monsters on streaming?
When I asked about "Monsters" I was told that they didn't have “The General” yet, because it was postponed, so there was no news of another song at the moment. So for now I can't say with certainty that they both go out together.

Not that you guys care, but you should. The Replacements just re-released Tim.
Ill give it a listen. I love listening to remixed albums. Animals was incredible...REM's Monster was a dud.

Does anyone think The General won’t be available for streaming and digital download on or around December 8th? They want to make money off the vinyl, and allowing those who purchased it as close to first listen as possible is the only real way to incentivize sales. Next Saturday, if not sooner, everyone will be able to hear it on their medium of choice.
It will be on streaming services not this friday but the next one. This is the last update.

"The General" will not be released in streaming this Friday but the following, December 8: it has just been postponed by a week. No confirmation at the moment on the release in this format, on the same day, of "Monsters". Over and out.

I can't tell you what changed the plans. It will certainly not only be a vinyl release but also digital and streaming. More: the song will be on streaming platforms even before the single is shipped.

what I can say is that what you call lack of communication is simply this band's communication. ditto when there was talk of a vinyl-only release it was because that was decided at the time. I don't know anything more than what I wrote but I can say for sure that whoever gave me the news does not expose himself without certainty of what he says.

Hi everyone.
Someone relevant revealed to me yesterday in confidence that The General will be released first in streaming on December 1st, while it will see the light on vinyl on the 8th as confirmed.
When I asked if the song in question contained a hidden track within it, they told me they didn't know anything about it, and that this kind of information reaches those in charge of radio promos more or less at the last minute.
They gave me the same answer for the length of the song.
p.s.: you don't know me directly but I'm sure that with a little effort you could understand who I am.
