The lithograph for this show is incredible.
That does look awesome. A nod to their appearance in the Eastwood/Dirty Harry film The Dead Pool as well years ago.

There's absolutely no "filler" on this album...I guess You're Crazy comes closest to "filler" for me...and it's not. Just an awesome album from beginning to end.
Sweet Child is my all-time favorite song, period, so I went with it...here's how I'd rank all 12 tracks.
12. You're Crazy
11. Anything Goes
10. Mr. Brownstone
9. My Michelle
8. It's So Easy
7. Out to Get Me
6. Paradise City
5. Think About You
4. Welcome to the Jungle
3. Nightrain
2. Rocket Queen
1. Sweet Child 'O Mine

In the past, he might have stormed off and ended the show lol.
It's odd why they seem determined to add more Chinese Democracy tracks...it's not like its a recent release that needs pushing. I guess Axl probably thinks it was underappreciated or something...the title track and This I Love would be enough of a representation to me.
That's my thought as I get back to watching my favorite Olympic event...women's beach volleyball.
#4 Re: Guns N' Roses » Ideal Setlist Part 1: Don't Cry vs. Patience » 432 weeks ago
I was a little disappointed when they didn't do Patience in New Orleans since it looked like they were rotating from show to show and did DC in Orlando the prior show. DC sounded great though...I wouldn't take it out. I'd take The Seeker out of the encore and do both Patience and DC.
I'd also take out Better...which seemed like most people's bathroom break song and add something like Think About You or Locomotive. Then it'd be near perfect "to me."

No surprises unfortunately, but still a great show. Was expecting Patience in the encore since Orlando had Don't Cry...but they did DC again...which sounded great, but still kinda wish Patience was in the set somewhere. Would be nice if Axl interacted with the crowd more verbally...but hey, splitting hairs. I thought he sounded solid all night...thought November Rain probably came off the weakest vocally though.
Especially liked that CRIMSON colored shirt he wore for the encore lol.
If they dropped Better and replaced it with Locomotive and replaced The Seeker with Patience in the encore it would be the perfect set list. And maybe rotate tracks from UYI in the deep track spot DTJ occupies.
Skipped the Cult...heard they were solid, but just had no interest...would have preferred a different opening act.

Andy, you have to go!! I thought for sure you would be in Atlanta. Now you are stuck going with your bammer friend, Chad.
Ha, ha...Roll Tide Roll!!!
Checked in to the hotel...going to hit Bourbon St...maybe some of the band is partaking in afternoon festivities lol.
Would love to get a new track or guest appearance tonight.

Well, this show is finally up next. Would be great to get a surprise in the Big Izzy...I mean, Big Easy. ? Still a little bummed I didn't do Nashville since Adler showed...but reviews for Orlando are saying Axl sounded awesome...looking forward to a great show. And if they'd like to throw in Locomotive or Think About You...feel free. ?

I do.
4/5 of something is better than 3/5 of something.

No reason Adler shouldn't be at every show now. You know he wants to and, unlike Izzy, I doubt he'd be looking for anything more than a modest monetary amount.

Keeps looking like Adler was only a two off event. Kicking myself for picking New Orleans over Nashville now.
And I wish they'd work more classic tracks in. I know some have seen some version of the band multiple times and like to hear some "newer" stuff...but honestly 90% of the crowd couldn't care less about the CD tracks...not sure why they're working more in...not like it's a new album they're needing to push. I like how stripped down and raw This I Love is...but outside of that, I'd rather hear a throw away track like The Garden over anything on CD.
