Assanage lost all credibility when he threatened to realse certain documents if he was arrested.  If he really was interested in transparency, he wouldn't hold anything as collateral in case he gets fucked.  The guy is an attention seeking whore who lives in fantasia.  That being said, I don't think he's a criminal (though in all honesty I haven't put too much thought into the issue) and the idea of the US somehow prosecuting him is laughable.  If the US can punish those in the media (even those who fit that title loosely such as wikileaks) what's to stop them from declaring every govt doct confidential.  If the US isn't going to prosecute the editor of the NY Times, I see no justification to prosecute Assanage.  The only true criminal thus far in any of this is Bradley Manning, and I'd volunteer to be on his firing squad.

Yes cult phenomena.  Neo-Nazi's take Christian scripture to the extreme.  They are considered a cult.

Didn't some guy use religion to try and make thousands of people kill themselves by drinking kool aid?  That's a cult.

There's religion, and then there's radical religion.  It happens with EVERY religion.

Irrelevant. Cults ask you to believe them. They try to convince you of an idea.

Is anyone asking you to believe them?

And wow, over 70 people believe in your 'ideas?'  More people have believed in the Sham Wow! and they don't work nearly as good as the tv says.

I'm sorry, but claiming something is valid because "over 70 people" believe in it is a fucking joke.  Statistically that's not even a drop in the ocean.

That would be like me taking a cup, filling it with water from the ocean, and claiming there are no fish because there's none in my cup.

Why are you appealing to the authority of a crowd?

He ain't giving you numbers so you can say, "Look, there's the conga line, let's party."

The numbers are there saying this many people saw something interesting there, maybe you should go check it out.

Not trying to convince you because of large numbers. Not trying to overwhelm you with a backing group. Not trying to say, "Come join our cult."

-Waves fingers hypnotically in the air.-

Jumping bridge analogy, anyone?

You my friend need a bigger cup.  Reading more philosophy will act as your bigger cup.  I thought this stuff was cool once upon a time too, then I started to learn more and realized I really don't know anything.

And just because you've learned that you don't know anything, you've given up on ever knowing anything.

That's also known as retreating into your own little bubble.

Coward.

Come look for yourself. Ain't no one telling you to believe nobody. This ain't a fuckin' "You suck my dick and I'll suck yours" circle jerk.

I'm saying "There's no you. Take a look, the evidence is all around you that what is called I doesn't exist."

Either you spend the time looking, or bitch about what you might or might not see.

Geez.

I heard all of this stuff Stepvhen YEARS AGO in philosophy class.

Nothing new.

You think that's bonus points for you? What are you, a stamp collector?

What credit is it to you if you've heard it before and yet you've not even given it the time of day to check out its truth value?

Yeah. Good job.

As for WikiLinks, nothing really earth-shattering has come out of it. We all know government have their dirty little secrets, and always will, because the world is a dirty place. You've gotta be more dirty, more ruthless, and more corrupt than the next guy to win. That's just the way it's done.

Fuck you.

The world deserves better men and women than the corrupt.

So it's some big deal that Britain hid illegal weapons for the U.S.? Who's gonna stop them? The International Court? You? John Kerry?

The government takes its power from the people. Without people, the government has no power.

And if the government is doing something wrong, like for example, harbor INTERNATIONALLY BANNED CLUSTER BOMBS, then the people need to know about it, because they're the ones being wronged.

I feel the same way about it I felt about how 'furious' the world and America was at BP for the Gulf Oil Disaster. Everyone is so pissed, yet no one has the balls to collectively not go into work tomorrow because the Master has the Slaves brainwashed, as you would say.

If everyone is so pissed off about all of this stuff, how about all of them grow a hairy pair, pick up a gun, and bust into the White House or the Queen's and cry revolution.

Yeah? What's that going to accomplish? They've got bigger guns. We're not fucking suicidal.

We are, however, as the people on this planet, a larger number than the government on this planet. That gives us strength they don't.

If people don't know about this, however, if people are ignorant of these crimes, then no one will help, no one will work together, no one will stop the corruption in the government.

Nah... didn't think so. Nobody is NEAR as pissed off as they make out. They'll shake their head in disgust, run their mouth a little over their coffee and cheese danish, go to work anyways and their lives will repeat the same way again.

How about we let people know what's going on so that when enough of the right people with the right kind of power hear, they'll step in with what they've got and we'll back them up?

Or are you too much of an indolent coward to do anything about injustice?

The world is far too passive to ever make a difference.

No, mate. You're too passive to ever make a difference.

Grow some balls, and be the change.
